The Music Therapy Symposium was held in Şanlıurfa. Şanlıurfa Governor Güngör Azim Tuna participated in the symposium. "We present a solution proposal on the axis of treatment with music through this symposium on the depression and conflicts, separations and impasses experienced by humanity, not only the individual but the scene of betrayals. Everything we produce as Şanlıurfa Governorate; Goodness, beauty, charity and peace; Unity and fraternity, we have no other ambition to open our hearts for brotherhood. "

Symposium on Music Therapy in Şanlıurfa was held on 12-13 May.

On the second day of the symposium, which started with a concert given by Prof. Dr. Rahmi Oruç Güvenç, it was mentioned that the sessions conducted by expert academicians were used as a method of music therapy.

Şanlıurfa Governor Güngör Azim Tuna, who made a speech at the opening of the symposium, said: "The treatment of music has to be dealt with at such a decent scientific meeting; In this respect we are in the interest of our rich culture and values; I believe, as it is in the expression of Imam Ghazi, that it will be both great for food and refreshment. Indeed, our deep-rooted culture is the heritage treasure worth leaving for us in musical therapy.

This symposium, which contains practical presentations from this aspect, has a separate preliminary designationI would like to express our gratitude to our esteemed academicians who have contributed valuable contributions to the symposium through this effort ". Governor Tuna reminds that the beliefs about the healing of music are universal acceptance and continues to speak. "We present a solution proposal on the axis of treatment with music through this symposium with the depression, conflicts and for confusion. Everything we produce as Şanlıurfa Governorate; Goodness, beauty, charity and peace; We have no other purpose than to open hearts about unity, resilience and brotherhood. In the Middle Ages, a dark age for Europe, many Islamic scholars have made important work in medical treatment. One of them is Ibni Sina, who frequently applied to Farabi as a source in his research and applied music to medical science.

We are heirs of a civilization with rich literature which tells us that music is not only a soul, but also healing body and treats physical illnesses and sores. This literature, in particular today, valuable work on the therapeutic power of music, again in this symposium and our esteemed academicians; This keeps our hopes and motivations alive. In the field of health, in addition to being valuable in the field of art, at the same time, the well-established culture, the music is keeping our values at the point of holding in among our priorities. "

Governor Tuna presented a certificate of appreciation to the participants at the end of the symposium, which took place in three sessions under the headings of "Adventure and Expansion of Music Therapy in Turkey, the Literature of Music Therapy and the Journey of Therapy and the History of Music Therapy and the Meaning of a Common Heritage".
